Childcare
The South County Family YMCA proudly serves over 1500 children in our various childcare programs. We offer preschool and daycare for infants aged 6 weeks to 5 years at three preschools in Venice: our Venice YMCA location on Center Road, Preschool on the Island and Jelly Bean Junction.
Our School Age programs departments in Venice and Englewood offer a variety of programs including before and afterschool care for children 5 – 13 years, summer camps, school break and school days off camps, teen events, kids night out, and Afterschool Academy to name a few.
The READS program serves children in both Venice and Englewood, providing quality literacy tutoring to children in third through fifth grades.
Onsite ChildWatch is available for children of members. This valuable 
service is provided free of charge and allows our members to exercise and be healthy while their children are cared for in a safe, nurturing environment.
Summer camps and specialty sports camps promote principles of healthy activity, teambuilding and self-esteem in youth.
Volunteer Opportunities
All of our childcare programs strive to provide the best experience possible for your children. We value volunteers and have many opportunities for volunteers to interact and positively affect the lives of a child. If interested in volunteer opportunities, please contact the program directors in your area of interest.

Kids Nights Out (aka Parent's Date Night!)
The Venice and Englewood YMCAs have several opportunities this summer for kids to have a great night and parents to get a breather.
