Childcare
The South County Family YMCA proudly serves over 1500 children in our various childcare programs. We offer preschool and daycare for infants aged 6 weeks to 5 years at our Venice YMCA location on Center Road.

Our School Age programs departments in Venice and Englewood offer a variety of programs including before and afterschool care for children 5 – 13 years, summer camps, school break and school days off camps, teen events, and kids night out to name a few.
The READS! program serves children in both Venice and Englewood, providing quality literacy tutoring to children in kindergarten through third grades.
Onsite ChildWatch is available for children of members. This valuable service is provided free of charge and allows our members to exercise and be healthy while their children are cared for in a safe, nurturing environment.
Summer camps and specialty sports camps promote principles of healthy activity, teambuilding and self-esteem in youth.
Volunteer Opportunities
All of our childcare programs strive to provide the best experience possible for your children. We value volunteers and have many opportunities for volunteers to interact and positively affect the lives of a child.
