Payment Options

Automatic Electronic Funds Transfer Option

Monthly automatic electronic funds transfers (EFT) can be set up from a designated checking, savings, or credit card account. Bank drafts are non-contractual and perpetual. 

When you set up your EFT draft with our staff, you will need to pay the first two months of membership up front plus the $50 joiner’s fee.  The bank draft option is a minimum of 6 months. To stop a bank draft a Membership Change Form must be completed 30 days in advance. 

Payment in Full Option

Members make a one time payment at the start of the membership year plus their joiner’s fee.  Annual fees can be paid by cash, check, debit card, MasterCard, or Visa.  Fees are non-refundable.

Joiner’s Fee

A $50.00 fee is charged for your initial registration with the YMCA.  Should your membership ever lapse for more than 30 days you will be required to pay a new joiner’s fee.  Youth members do not pay the joiner’s fee.

Scholarships

The South County Family YMCA is a nonprofit organization committed to helping people grow in spirit, mind and body.Our YMCA serves people of all ages, backgrounds, abilities and incomes.The YMCA believes that its programs and services should be available to everyone. Thanks to the many supporters of the South County Family YMCA and the United Way, we are able to provide financial assistance through a scholarship program.

There is a sliding fee scale that is designed to fit each individual’s financial situation.Scholarships will be reviewed once a year or sooner if there is a change in family income.Scholarship amounts will be calculated according to the YMCA non-member rate unless the applicant enrolls in an Individual, Family or Single Parent Membership at the South County Family YMCA. It takes approximately 10 business days to process each application.

Corporate Memberships

The YMCA is very proud of the many companies who invest in the good health of their employees through endorsement and support of the YMCA Corporate Membership Program.  Please contact the Membership Director if your company is interested in a corporate membership.

Away Information

YMCA members from participating AWAY YMCA’s across the world may use our facilities three times per year for free. Additional usage requires a fee of $5 per individual and $15 per family.

Guest Information

Guests of a YMCA member can attend one time for free when they come with the member.

Members are given three complimentary guest passes for friends and family.  All guests and visitors are required to present a valid guest pass upon entering the building and must be accompanied by a member. 

Non-member user fees are $10/day for adults and $5/day under the age of 21. 

Membership Cards

Membership ID Cards are issued at the time of membership registration.  You must present your card to use our facilities.  Lost cards can be replaced at the Membership Service desk for a fee of $5.00.
