The staff at the YMCA is excited to provide a safe, fun and stimulating gymnastics environment. This is mirrored through the teaching philosophy that every participant is given the opportunity to reach his or her potential through professional instruction, respect for safety and a positive atmosphere. Proper progressions and progressive skill equipment are utilized to maximize this goal.
Two locations serve the residents of Sarasota and Charlotte Counties.
12 - week school year sessions 2011-2012
Fall Session: August 29 - November 21
Winter Session: November 28 - March 3
Spring Session: March 5 - May 26
Venice Gymnastics
The Venice Branch of the South County Family YMCA is proud to host a 10,000 square foot, air-conditioned center that houses the gymnastics, cheerleading, and rock climbing programs. The pro-shop is designed for all gymnast's and dancer's apparel needs. Classes are offered 6-days a week with birthday parties available on Saturdays and Sundays. The pro-shop is fully stocked with top-of-the-line gymnastics leotards, dance leotards, tights and quality dance shoes for ballet, tap and hip hop. Full-day gymnastics camp offered most days Sarasota County Schools are closed.

Englewood Gymnastics
The Englewood Branch of the South County Family YMCA offers gymnastics on Tuesdays. The equipment is set up daily in the basketball gymnasium. All four women's disciplines are represented: vault, bars, beam and floor. Sized-down equipment offers a stimulating environment for preschool-age students.
