Y's P.A.T.H. to Weight Loss
Obesity is a growing epidemic in our country, and as a result, weight loss is becoming a huge industry. The path to a healthy lifestyle begins with proper nutrition, exercise, and behavior modification. Here at the South County Family YMCA, we focus on education, demonstration, and a multi-disciplinary approach to support you in achieving your weight loss goals.
Current Program Options:
- Have a Fit Check done: this free appointment assesses your cardiovascular fitness, muscular strength, flexibility, and body composition. Do a follow up in 2 months and see if your workout is really working FOR you.
- Join one or both of our Seasonal 8-week challenge programs offered in October and January.
- Attend the many educational seminars offered at both the Venice ane Englewood branches covering a variety of nutrition, exercise, mind-body-spirit connection, and health-related topics.
